Moone <br />Title City Administrator <br />Administrator Reviewed:Agenda Section: <br />City Administrator ’s Report <br />Item Description: Urban Hennepin Ct^nty Joint Cooperation Agreement (CDBG) for <br />FY 2006.2008 <br />The City has pailicipated in the Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant <br />Program for many years. Through the program, the City has obtained funding to assist low and <br />moderate income households in rehabilitating their homes and in purchasing homes. In order for <br />Hennepin County to qualify to receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program <br />funds, and in order for Orono to be eligible to receive funds through this program, a joint <br />cooperation agreement is required. Attached is the joint cooperation agreement and a resolution <br />authorizing the execution of the joint cooperation agreement between the City of Orono and <br />Hennepin County for participation in the Urban Hennepin County CDBG Program in FY 2006- <br />2008. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to adopt the attached resolution authorizing the execution of the joint cooperation <br />agreement between the City of Orono and Hennepin County for participation in the Urban <br />Hennepin County CDBG Program in FY 2006-2008. <br />'i rL <br />-v*
