The closure of the facility <br />must include the following procedures: <br />disposal. <br />A. Close access to the facility and prohibit waste <br />B. Eradicate rodents. <br />C. Provide measures to protect ground water and <br />surface water. <br />D. Divert surface water drainage around and away from <br />the disposal area. <br />E. Compact the waste and cover with a minimum of two <br />feet of compacted earth material. <br />F. Establish and maintain final grade to promote <br />surface water runoff without excessive erosion. Seed to provide <br />suitable vegetation. <br />G. Record a detailed description, including a plat, <br />with the county recorder. The description must include general <br />types and location of wastes, depth of fill, and other <br />information of interest to potential land owners. <br />H. General retjuirements. Parts 7035.2525 to <br />7035.2875 apply to owners and operators of all facilities that <br />treat, transfer, score, process, or dispose of solid waste <br />except as specifically provided otherwise in this part. <br />Subp. 2. Exceptions. Parts 7035.2525 to 7035.2875 do not <br />^pply to the following solid waste management facilities# except <br />as indicated: <br />A. backyard compost sices; <br />B. recycling sites handling one waste type only or <br />recycling sites established to collect and transport recycladles <br />to a processor in volumes of less than 30 cubic yards, except <br />for pacts 7035.0700, 7035.2845, subpart 3, and 7035.2855; <br />and <br />C. industrial solid waste land disposal facilities; <br />D. solid waste from the extraction, beneficiation, <br />and processing, of ores and minerals scored, collected, <br />transferred, transported, utilized, processed, and disposed of <br />or reclaimed, provided the facility is permitted for such use <br />under part 7001.0020, item B, and chapter 6130. <br />HS s 115.03 subd 1; 116.07 subds 2,4,4g,4h <br />13 SR 1150 <br />7035.2535 GENERAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY REQUIREMENTS. <br />Subpart 1.
