Application <br />involves storm sewer improvements within the 75* setback <br />area. <br />List of Exhibits - <br />A - Application <br />B <br />C <br />D <br />E <br />F <br />G <br />Addendum <br />Plat Map <br />Property Owners List <br />MCWD Permit <br />Site Plan <br />Elevation/Spec Sheet <br />Review of 7UEter-the~fact Application - <br />The Hennepin County Department of Transportation was asked <br />to file an after-the-fact application involving the installation <br />of turn lane at the intersection of County l-v'ads 15 and 51 and <br />much needed storm sewer improvements ar that intersection. <br />Rather than delay the project, the City asked the County to file <br />an application and proceed with the improvement. <br />The storm sewer project involves the installation of <br />underground tiles and a series of catch basins to handle run-off <br />that comes from the west along County Road 51. The current stoirm <br />sewer system is inadequate. The current system involves a simple <br />underground tile and catch basin that runs along the west side of <br />County Road 15 and then drains eventually into the lake further <br />south. The inadequacies of the limited system have resulted in <br />major washouts in the area during heavy storms. Review Exhibit <br />E, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District has already approved a <br />permit for the project.
