PROPOSED VERSION IN "ADD/DELETE" FORMAT <br />ORDINANCE # r SECOND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PERFORMANCE <br />STANDARDS TO THE NON-ENCROACHMENT <br />AND ACCESSORY STROCTORE SECTIONS OP THE <br />ORONO MUNICIPAL CODE <br />Y-O <br />The City Council of Orono ordains as follows: <br />following language in its place: <br />Subd. 15. Non-Encroachments. The following shall not be <br />considered to be encroachments on yard requirements: <br />A. Chimneys, flues, belt courses, leaders, sills, pilasters, lintels, <br />ornamental features, mechanical devices, <br />the like provided they do not extend more than 1-1/2 feet laterally <br />into the reouired yard from a structure t^ ^ n^ located witnin ^ <br />—Jff^reee parking except aa Sireenaeter regaiatedT <br />B Name elate signs for one family dwellingsr Lights for illuminating <br />eirkinr IreaL loading areas, or yards for safety and security <br />purposes, provided the direct source of light is not visible from the <br />public right-of-way or adjacent residential property. Fences which do not exceed 3-1/2 feet in height; fences not <br />six feet in height along the street lot line of lake fron-age lata <br />which front on a ma^or thoroaghfarer if Ihllt <br />eembined height of both fence and fell shall not exceed 6 feet above <br />the height of the erown of the roadr terraces, steps, uncovered <br />porches, stoops or similar structures, which do not extend above the <br />height of the ground floor level of the principal building and extend <br />to a distance of not less than two ten feet from any lot line. <br />D.
