Side street setback on west side is excessive. Applicant is <br />asked to relocate trash compactor to east side of building. <br />2. Applicant is encouraged to submit an addendum to respond.to <br />suggestions made by staff to limit use of parking area for special <br />sales, etc. Some members felt the 26 stall variance excessive, others <br />had no objections. In general, it was staff's understanding that the <br />Planning Commission asked you to consider a reduction in the size of <br />the expansion in order to minimize impact on adjacent residential. <br />Please provide in that same addendum, additional supportive <br />information regarding need for the specific size of this addition. In <br />addition, staff would recommend that you document the reasons as to <br />why the receiving dock cannot be relocated on the east side. <br />The Zoning staff has discussed proposed vacation of Kelly Avenue at <br />the north end and comprehensive storm sewer improvement for the Kelly <br />Avenue watershed. The City Administrator will seek further direction from <br />the Council regarding a comprehensive look at the Kelly Avenue area to <br />determine suitable location for a cul-de-sac and the types of storm sewer <br />improvements that may be considered.
