Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, Minnesota 55323 <br />Dear Mr. Gaffron: <br />Re: Variance Application No. 1605 <br />Enclosed you will find revised plans elevations and hard cover <br />calculations for the proposed addition to the residence of Dr. Richard <br />Lindstrom at 1065 West Femdale Road In the city of Orono. <br />There are several changes to the proposed addtion based on ccmnents <br />at the Novorber 19, 1990 meeting of the Planning Ccnmission. We are <br />proposing an addition to the north of the existing house on the existing <br />driveway. This addition will have a two level garage with li\ing <br />quarters above. It is proposed that the existing east driveway will be <br />lowered to provide access to the 2-stall garage at the basement level of <br />the existing house. The west driveway will remain unchanged and provide <br />access to the 2-stall garage at the first level of the existing house. <br />The proposed second story addition to the existing house has also <br />been reconfigured. The projecting decdc has been removed. The proposed <br />second story deck is over the exir*''ng structure and is narrower than <br />the previously proposed dedc. The ;tent of this proposal is to step <br />the proposed second story addition jack to minimize the visual <br />encroachment sited in your report of November 15th, 1990. <br />The pool and patio are proposed on existing hard cover in the 75*- <br />250* zone. <br />It is also proposed that all plastic sheeting underlaying <br />landscaped areas on the site be removed. <br />s
