Sec. 78-368 shall be amended by adding text to read as follows: <br />SECTION. 78-368 Accessory uses. <br /> (19) Accessory Dwelling Unit <br /> <br />SECTION 20. Sec. 78-392 shall be amended by adding and deleting text to read as follows: <br />SECTION 78-392. Permitted uses. <br />(4) Reserved Nonrental guest apartments (no exterior ingress or egress). An apartment within the <br />principal residence structure on a lot for the sole use of the occupants of the principal <br />residence, including their domestic employees or nonpaying guests. The only means of ingress <br />or egress to the apartment shall be from within the principal structure. Application for such a <br />guest apartment shall address the concerns of parking, sewage treatment, entryway and interior <br />access method. Such apartments shall not have utilities metered separately from the principal <br />residence utilities and shall not have a separate street address. <br /> <br />SECTION 21. Sec. 78-393 shall be amended by adding and deleting text to read as follows: <br />SECTION. 78-393 Conditional uses. <br /> (2) Reserved Guest houses provided that: <br />1. The lot is at least two times the minimum lot area required by this section; and <br />2. The guest house is for the sole use of the occupants of the principle dwelling, including their <br />domestic employees and nonpaying guests. <br />3. The property owner must execute a covenant providing that the guest house will not be: <br />a. Used for a home occupation unless specifically approved by the city or if allowed by this <br />Code. <br />b. Rented, leased, or otherwise provided for use as a dwelling under any other <br />circumstances than what is provided for in City Code. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 22.
