4. Funding. This replacements will be funded through the Equipment Fund. The items were <br />identified in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and were identified in the 2022 CIP plan however <br />the costs are coming in significantly higher. With the additional cost the projected EOY balance <br />for the equipment fund is $556,204. <br /> <br />5. Staff Recommendation. I recommend that the council accept the quotes from lowest <br />responsible bidder and authorize staff to order chassis at the lowest price available during the <br />ordering window. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to approve replacement of trucks #422, 431 and #712 and authorize staff to place orders for chassis for <br />712 and 431 at the lowest price provided during the ordering window up to an amount of $65,000 each. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Exhibits: <br />A.
