The purpose of this item is for City Council to accept the sanitary sewer and water utilities <br />within the Orono Crossing development. <br /> <br />2. Background. The Orono Crossing development (LA21-36) was approved subject to the terms of <br />the Development Contract executed by the developer and the City July 26, 2021. Per the contract the <br />water and sanitary sewer are to be a public facilities owned, operated and maintained by the City of <br />Orono. <br /> <br />3. Public Improvements. The development infrastructure that is public include the water system and <br />sanitary sewer system. The value of the public improvements is $215,262.70. <br /> <br />4. Staff Recommendation.
