The <br />Chairman noted that he had no proolem with the <br />proposed application but advised the applicant <br />that a current letter from the Minnetonka Boat <br />Works approving the setback of the most southern <br />dock on Tanager Bay was required to complete the <br />review. Rivers staced this was no problem. <br />Frahm moved to approve a 1983 commercial dock <br />license for Windward Marine subject to the <br />applicant's submitting the required letter <br />prior to Council action. Grabek seconded. <br />Vote: Ayes (3), Nays (0). <br />Jon Vogt represented Sailors World. Frahm asked <br />if the Marina maintained a fire extinguisher at <br />the gas pump. Vogt stated that they did not, but <br />would be happy to Install one. The applicant was <br />asked why he had not complied with last years <br />license by designating each parking stall. <br />Grabek advised that a chain device was easier and <br />cheaper to install than the individual post <br />method agreed upon in last years license. <br />Members stated they had no problem with whatever <br />method is decided upon but that parking stall <br />designation must be completed in early spring. <br />Grabek moved to approve a 1983 commercial dock <br />license for Sailors World subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. Fire extinguisher must be installed at gas <br />pump <br />2. Individual parking stall designation to be ^ <br />completed by May 1983. <br />Goetten seconded. Vote: Ayes (3), Nays (0). <br />1 - <br />^im Mehner, the applicant, was present. Mabusth <br />advised that the applicant purposes no change iit <br />the level of use nor has the City received any <br />complaints about the use of the property. <br />Grabek moved to recommend approval of a 1983 <br />commercial dock license for Crystal Bay Service. <br />Goetten seconded. Vote: Ayes (3), Nays (0) <br />The applicant was unable to attend the <br />rescheduled meeting of the Marina Committee. <br />Frahm moved to table action on the license <br />application until the applicant could be present <br />at the review meeting. Goetten seconded. <br />Vote: Ayes (3), Nays (0). <br />The Marina Committee adjourned at 5:45 jF.M.
