MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 16, 1965. PAGE 5 <br />#928 RICHARD PULA <br />2015 WEBBER HILLS ROAD <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />SECOND REVIEW <br />This application was previously tabled ponding receipt of <br />required septic testing and system design information. <br />Dick Pula was present for this matter and explained that his <br />existing septic system was found to be adequate but he still <br />intends to improve the system. <br />Mr. Pula explained the purpose of the need for this guest <br />apartment in an attempt to care for the elderly and his own, <br />and is not ever planning on using it as rental property and is <br />against rental property in his area. <br />Chairman Callahan expressed concejrn for this turning into <br />rental property in the future. <br />Kelley, Rovegno and Sime stated their agreement with the <br />applicant's request and felt this was an appropriate use. <br />Goetten felt the lot was to substandard to allow any more <br />variances. <br />McDonald stated that a precedent would be set by approving <br />this type of use and standards should be set f>rst. <br />Chairman Callahan stated that it was too much of a variance <br />from the code to allow. <br />It was moved by Kelley, seconded by Sime, to recommend <br />approval of the conditional use permit subject to the <br />property not being rented in the future, one occupant only, <br />and entrance to apartment be internal. Motion, Ayes 3, Nays <br />3. Callahan, Goetten, and McDonald voted nay. <br />Mr. Pula was advised that his request will be heard by the <br />Council for a final decision. <br />RECOGNITION <br />At this time, Mr. Pula wished to publicly thank Building <br />Inspector, Tom Jacobs, for his assistance in dealing with a <br />problem with his contractor. <br />#952 FRANK KOKESH <br />4100 WATERTOWN ROAD <br />APPEAL - INTERPRETATION OP STOCK <br />FARM AND HONE OCCUPATION SECTION <br />CONTINUATION OP PUBLIC HEARING 10:12 - 10:36 <br />Lou Oberhauser, attorney for the applicant, was present for <br />this niatter.
