Mabusth, Zoning Administrator <br />September 13, 1985 <br />Subject: Proposed Ordinance Limiting Development Within Highway 12 <br />Study Area <br />Per SS 462.355, Subdivision (4) the City may adopt an interium <br />ordinance that may regulate, restrict or prohibit any use, development or <br />subdivision within the defined study area. Staff will recommend that the <br />City adopt such an ordinance and that the ordinance restrict or prohibit <br />the approval of land use applications and issuance of building permits as <br />follows: <br />1. All rezoning and zoning: <br />Amendment applications - new applications and applications in the <br />process of review. <br />2. Subdivision - except those that have received preliminary approval <br />from the City before the published effective date of the ordinance. <br />3. Conditional uses. <br />4. Variances. <br />5. Building permits for new construction or total replacement. <br />Building permics for modifications or additions to existing structures <br />will be permitted. <br />The following list of projects will also be specified in the ordinance <br />as exempt from the limitations cf this ordinance: <br />1. #963 Willow Properties, 700 Old Crystal Bay Road - Subdivision <br />(this item will be listed in order to assure completion of plat just <br />in case plat does not receive preliminary approval at October 7th <br />meeting) <br />2. #962 Lawrence C. Wade, 670 Old Crystal Bay Road - Conditional use <br />permit for Montessori School <br />3.
