Following the joint workshop meeting, the City <br />Staff will complete a written summary of the review and <br />analysis of alternative plans for inclusion in the study <br />report. <br />Lead Role <br />The Planning Consultant will be responsible for preparing <br />the alternative development plans which have been <br />identified in this section. The Consultant will also be <br />responsible for presenting these plans to the Planning <br />Commission and City Council. Following the joint meeting <br />to review and discuss the alternative plans, the City staff <br />will be responsible for documenting this process and <br />completing the section of the Study Report which summarizes <br />this phase. <br />PHASE FOUR; Refinement of Selected Alternative. Development of <br />Final Plan <br />The conclusion of Phase Three as stated above, will be the <br />selection of a preferred alternative plan. Depending upon <br />the level of agreement which the City has reached regarding <br />the selected alternative, the refined alternative will <br />either be presented to the Planning Commission at a <br />workshop meeting or the process may skip directly to a <br />joint workshop meeting with the City Council. Once the <br />selected alternative has been refined, the final plan will <br />be prepared along with a written summary of the process <br />which transpired to arrive at it. When this final plan is <br />ready, the Consultant will prepare a summary presentation <br />of the entire process, to be given at a public hearing at <br />the Planning Commission level. When the Planning <br />Commission has arrived at a recommendation regarding the <br />preferred alternative, the Consultant will attend the next <br />City Council meeting to present the final plan. <br />Lead Role <br />The Consultant and the City Staff will share the <br />responsibility for the completion of this phase of the <br />Study. The Consultant will complete the graphic portion of <br />the product and the City Staff will prepare the written <br />portion of the Study with the advice and the counsel of the <br />Consultant. <br />i
