Mayor Mary BuMer <br />City of Ororio <br />Orono Mn <br />. * I I * i ! * •' • <br />I <br />J I <br />11," <br />U <br />FEB 2 8 1985 <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />Dear Mayor Butler; <br />This is in refercrice to the city onjinarice governing the storing of <br />trailers, docl s. eic. on residential lots <br />Because of the physical problems of many of the lots on Crystal Bay <br />Rd , n e . narrow lots, closely spaced houses, inaccesseble rear yards, a <br />road along the laKeshore., etc.) it is almost impossible for the residents to <br />comply with the ordinance as it is now written As one drives along other <br />lakeshore areas Orono, it becomes evident that many other people have <br />the same problem <br />The lake is the basis for a great deal of recreetiona! activity all year, <br />conseguent ly, a great deal ot eguipment ( boats, snowmobiles, docks, etc ) <br />is accumulated by the residents In view of this, I urge the city to amend <br />the ordinance so that it more closely addresses the needs and lirmtions of <br />the citizens of Orono, and specifically the problems of Crystal Bay Rd. <br />residents. <br />Respectfully, <br />^ c'i,
