4942256 <br />mm <br />J 1 ; ' I i' <br />City of ORONO <br />r' ' <br />i.* <br />3 wmmm-jQsvQKat <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO.1 c M <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2 - FILE #857 <br />WHEREAS, Jerry Nelson {hereinafter "the applicant ) is owner <br />of the oroperty locates at 25fi5 nunwoody Avenue within the City of Orono <br />(hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 11, Block 8, Townsitc of Langdon Park, and that part of Lot <br />12, Block 8, Townsitc of Langdon Park lying northwesterly of a <br />line described as beginning at a point in the northeasterly <br />line of Lot 12 distant 39.5 feet southeast from the most <br />northerly corner of said Lot 12; thence southwesterly <br />parallel with the northwesterly line of Lot 12 a distance of <br />188 feet; thence deflect right 8 degrees 35 minutes a distance <br />of 147 feet more or less to the shore line and said line thereby <br />terminating; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance <br />to Municipal loninq Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to permit the <br />constructior. of a deck which will increase the hardcover in the 75-250 <br />setback zone from 6,898 square feet (or 24«) to 8»J44 square feet (or <br />29») where only 7,018 square feet (or 25%) is allowed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BR IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota ; <br />FINDINGS <br />1.
