Slifka, P.E. <br /> Product Evaluafion Lisfin_q <br /> 7.(3 Ci?A1�3[71C1N5 QF 115� <br /> The National Evaluation Service Committee finds that Insulspan Structural Insulated <br /> Panels as described in this report comply with or are suitable alternatives to the 2000 <br /> 1.0 SUBJECT International8uilding Code, the 2000 International Residential Code for One-and <br /> Two-Family Dwellings, the 2002 Accumulative Supplement to the International <br /> Codes,the BOCA National Building Code/1999, the 1999 Standard Building Code <br /> 2.0 PROPERTY FOR WHICH and the 1997 Uniform Building Code subject to the following conditions: <br /> EVALUATION IS SOUGHT 7.1 The Insulspan Structural Insulated Panels are fabricated and erected to comply <br /> with this report. Design loads shall be determined in accordance with the <br /> applicable code and loadings on the panels shall not exceed the allowable loads <br /> 3.0 DESCRIPTION noted in the allowable laad tables at the end of this report. Additionally, for <br /> plastered ceilings,the live load deflection shall be limited to 1/360th of the span. <br /> 4.0 INSTALLATION 7•2 Design calculations and details for specific applications using Insulspan <br /> Structural Insulated Panels shall be furnished to the code official verifying <br /> compliance with this report and the applicable code. The individual preparing <br /> such documents shall posses the necessary credentials regarding competency <br /> 5_0 IDENTIFICATION and qualifications as required by the applicable code and the professional <br /> registration laws of the state where the construction is under taken. <br /> 6.0 EVIDENCE SUBMITTED 7.3 Panels having core thicknesses of greater than 5�i2 inches (139.7 mm) shall <br /> — have �iis inch (11.1 mm) thick skins only and are limited to roof appiications <br /> only. <br /> 7.0 CONDITIONS OF USE 7.4 The scope of this report is limited to an evaluation of the structural capacity of <br /> the panels and the fire resistance rating of assemblies using the panels.
