He also would like to oontitwe with the wild life aspect of the <br />property. In fact, he is requesting approval of a wetlands variance for dredging <br />of a duck pond which he feels will improve conditions for wildlife purposes. <br />His request consists of approval for dredging of an area of about 5/8 acres to a <br />depth of fran 4' to S'. His proposal also requires approval of grading of the <br />excess excavated material slang the edge of the wetlands area adjoining Lake <br />Clasen . <br />This would require approval of e. qd Whtershed District also. <br />PLA1 N ING C(I MISS ION MELTING - Decem e r 20, 1976 <br />Mr. Ledstram was Present. lie reflected his concern for the safety of the horses <br />in this pasture. A horse barn is currently located only 50' from this proposed <br />duck pond. The soil in this area is very soft and mucky, and therefore a hazard <br />to the horses. :'! pond would eliminate the Lazard and also provide a pond for <br />ducks. <br />His proposal includes using the dred!Yed material for fillinn and Pradinp; of a <br />steep grade to the east between the proposed pond and Lake Cl ass en . M i s } i e <br />contends would eliminate the hazardmis steep slope.
