Schedules work activities effectively, arranges workload to resources <br />available to get desired result, allows flexibility in planning to accommodate changing needs by <br />adopting alternate plans, and copes well with unexpected occurrences through proper planning. <br /> x <br />16. Resource Management: Develops /assists in developing the organization budget <br />covering all functions and monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with the budget. Ensures the <br />care maintenance of organization equipment, facilities and supplies. <br /> x <br />17. Achieves: Plans and coordinates both internal and external activities and resources to ensure <br />successful completion of the organizations mission and goals. x <br />Examples: <br />E: Job Knowledge: John took over the project management in construction inspection role for this year’s stormwater <br />improvement project resulting in a smoothly run project that finished ahead of schedule and on budget. E: <br />Communication. John makes the effort to communicate and coordinate across departments and within the crew. <br />His strength is oral communication. He routinely works with residents to resolve issues and complaints. Examples <br />include resolving snow plow damage complaints and processing road maintenance requests. <br />N: Achieves: The 2019 Personnel Evaluation process was not completed in a timely manner. As of June none of his <br />had been counseled on their previous year’s performance nor did goals get set for the upcoming year. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />OVERALL ANNUAL ASSESSMENT: Provide an overall assessment of the employee’s performance during the <br />last review period. Group by areas of responsibility. For supervisors include assessment of management and leadership. <br /> -Roads: Successfully implemented the maintenance stripping program and maximized the <br />amount of crack sealing we got done with our limited resources. Successfully coordinated <br />contracted patches for a worst pavement sections. <br /> -Stormwater: Successfully took over the project management of the stormwater improvement <br />project. Nearly completed the storm water inspection plan for 2020. Several storm water <br />maintenance items remain on the list and overdue. <br /> -Equipment: John has made great strides in improving maintenance readiness. He championed <br />the procurement of key pieces of equipment such as the tool cat, ROW mower and the brine <br />distributer. - Management. Overall John exceeded expectations when it came to managing his <br />department’s roles and responsibilities. He accomplished the vast majority of his missions on <br />time and within budget. He went out of his way to coordinate activities with staff and outside <br />agencies. <br />- Leadership. Overall John met expectations when it came to leading his department and <br />subordinates. John always goes the extra mile to represent the interests of the public work team <br />and ensure the administrative needs of his subordinates are addressed. I believe John has <br />excellent potential to be a leader at higher organizational levels with greater responsibility. <br /> <br />Use a continuation sheet if necessary <br />Annual Review: Overall performance related to position requirements. <br /> x
