MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, July 25, 2022 <br />6:00 o’clock p.m. <br />_____________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />Page 1 of 8 <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br />The Orono City Council met on the above-mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Dennis Walsh, City Council Members Matt Johnson, Aaron Printup, and Richard Crosby III; Council <br />Member Victoria Seals was absent. Representing Staff were City Attorney Soren Mattick, Finance <br />Director Ron Olson, City Planner Laura Oakden, and City Planner Melanie Curtis. <br /> <br />Mayor Walsh called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Crosby asked to add Item 6, LA 22-000026 – Al Azad, 165 Bederwood Drive, Variances – Resolution <br />7278 to Consent Agenda and to Move Item 7 and Item 8 Before Public Comments. <br /> <br />A member of the public asked to remove Item 4 from the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Crosby moved, Johnson seconded, to approve the Agenda as amended. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES OF JULY 11, 2022 <br />2. CLAIMS/BILLS <br />3. 2022 PAY EQUITY REPORT <br />4. LA21-000029 – ROBERT D. ERICKSON, 365 WESTLAKE STREET, CONFIRMING <br />CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL – RESOLUTION 7277 <br />This item was removed from the Consent Agenda. <br />5. SPRUCE PLACE RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJUSTMENT <br />6. LA 22-00026 – AL AZAD, 165 BEDERWOOD DRIVE, VARIANCES – RESOLUTION <br />7278 <br />Crosby moved, Johnson seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 5, <br />Nays 0. <br />4. LA21-000029 – ROBERT D. ERICKSON, 365 WESTLAKE STREET, CONFIRMING <br />CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL – RESOLUTION 7277 <br />City Planner Oakden gave a summary presentation on the item noting this is a clarification that all items <br />have been submitted and all conditions have been met. <br /> <br />Barbara Schmidt, 50 Landmark Drive, asked if the final plat for the property has been approved. <br />
