The first case file that comes to Aur attention is #80-112 which is dated Jan. 9, 1980. This is a dc�g bite report from Methodist Hosp. Emergency rece�iving room involving the bitten party, Mary Koltes. The party was bitten by her ov,m dog. The dog bite report was taken pursuant to state regulations. The next case file is #80-3055 dated June 23, 1980 and this is a report by Mary Koltes advising that somebody had fired what appeared to be a gun at their dog. The dogs were supposed to have been on a balcony patio of her home. There is no evidence of a projectile striking. Complainant stated that one of her four dogs was shot last year. The reporting officer was aware that many of the neighbors were unhappy with the dogs and their barking. The next offense report is dated Oct. 17, 1980, case file #gp-5276, the complainant was Gene Block of Bayview Place. Mr. Block advised that his neighbor, Mary Koltes has as many as six dogs in the house. He stated that she lets her dogs out on the porch, they bark when ever anybody walks by on the street or when any other dogs or animals come into the yard. Stated that the dogs do interfere witl� his normal hours of sleep. The reporting officer went to talk with Mrs. Koltes about the dogs, and found four dags at the house. She did have licenses for the dogs. She did have a kennel licen se. She stated she did have one female in heat, I informed her that any females in heat should be confined inside. The next complaint in our records is dated April 27, 1981 , case file #81-2296. It was a complaint by Sherrie Block, at 10:16 in the evening. She states that she and the neighbor, Shirley Pavlok of Bayview Place reported a con- tinuing problem with noise coming from dogs at 2300 Bayview. Dogs are owned by Mary Koltes. Owner was not home at the time while the reporting officer was there. He did observ�: five dogs on a deck adjoining the residence. The dogs wer�e • free to go in and out of the house. Reporting parties stated they were willing to sign a complaint to resolve the problem.
