The City renewed its contract for services with Safe- Assure to draft <br />updated safety manuals and compliance documents, provide required and voluntary safety training, and to <br />conduct building safety inspections. Required AWAIR, Right to Know, Blood borne Pathogen, <br />Emergency Action Plans, and Ergonomics training was provided to all employees. <br /> <br />2.02.5. Cheers Committee. The Cheers Committee is <br />charged with planning and executing city staff moral and <br />welfare activities. 2021 saw the return of several staff <br />events that had been cancelled in 2020 due to COVID19. Events this year included the Staff <br />appreciation summer picnic, Staff recognition holiday party and the annual chili cook-off. The <br />committee also developed acuity logo’d apparel offering for staff. Of special note was the Staff <br />Holiday luncheon and charity auction.
