<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. 7245 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT <br />OF THE URBAN BOATBUILDERS FOR <br />A ONE DAY GAMBLING PERMIT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Boatbuilders has submitted an application to conduct <br />lawful gambling activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Boatbuilders has proposed to conduct a one day gambling <br />activity as part of its fundraising activities at the Ice Fishing Extravaganza event to be held on <br />February 6, 2022; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Boatbuilders is required to obtain approval of the one day <br />gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has no objection to the conduct of lawful <br />gambling by the applicant, in accordance with law, at the designated location. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council does <br />hereby approve the application of the Urban Boatbuilders to conduct a one day gambling activity <br />at the 3400 North Shore Drive, Orono, MN on February 6, 2022. <br /> <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 24th day of January <br />2022. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br />ATTEST: Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
