<br />CITY OF ORONO <br /> <br />Position Title: Clubhouse Manager and Events Coordinator-Part Time <br />Document Date: December 22, 2021 <br />Department: Parks Department <br />Accountable to: Parks and Golf Superintendent <br />FLSA Status: Non-exempt <br /> <br />Nature of Work <br />Performs a variety of administrative and supervisory work in the management of the municipal <br />golf course club house operation including but not limited to: managing and directing the day to <br />day operations of the store; supervising and scheduling employees; developing retail objectives <br />for the store; preparing marketing and merchandising concepts; establishing policies and <br />procedures guaranteeing compliance with applicable laws and regulations; and maintaining <br />proper store inventories. The position will also be responsible for planning, organizing, and <br />facilitating events for the City of Orono. <br /> <br />Supervision Received and Exercised <br />This position is supervised by the Parks and Golf Superintendent. This position will provide <br />supervision and oversight to the Orono Golf Course clubhouse employees. <br />Examples of Work <br />Essential functions listed below are intended as illustrations of the various types of work that <br />may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them if the <br />work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position. <br /> <br />• Supervises the daily operation of the golf course clubhouse and staff. Work involves <br />management of staff responsible for sale of greens fees, concessions including alcoholic <br />beverages; assisting in the promotion and maintenance of good public relations and <br />customer satisfaction; assumes operational control as directed by the Golf Course <br />Superintendent.
