Part of the project involves <br /> removing dirt to change grade. Busse Construction has worked with local <br /> property owners to fmd sites to create berms and level grades to provide <br /> disposal sites near the construction project. <br /> The four applications submitted for consideration this month involve four <br /> property owners, and possibly a fifth (Colgrove). <br /> #2381 <br /> Work on the berms at the Johnson and Larson properties proceeded prior <br /> to obtaining a conditional use permit for land alteration. The building <br /> inspector stopped work on the project until the City Council can consider <br /> the application. <br /> Two areas are proposed for land alteration on the Johnson property. One <br /> area is along Watertown Road. The size of the area to be altered is 230' <br /> by 250' changing the grade or height by 7 ft. The amount of fill required <br /> is 10,650 cubic yards. The other area is along Sixth Avenue North and is <br /> partially located on the Larson property at 4285 Sixth Avenue North. This <br /> area is proposed to be longer, narrower, and higher than the southerly <br />
