EXHIBIT A <br />FEES AND CHARGES <br />The following Exhibit outlines the services available and the costs for those services as of <br />2010. <br />A. Monthlv Retainer Fee: The monthly retainer fee is for reimbursement of general <br />Orono overhead expenses attributable to providing service to Minnetonka Beach, which amount <br />shall be $25.00 per month. <br />B. Inspection Char e: The inspection charge is for time spent by the Orono Building <br />Official ar his authorized inspectar in the performance of the building inspection services <br />described herein at a charge of$30.00 per %2 hour inspection. <br />C. Hourly Service Char: An hourly service charge for time spent by the Orono <br />Building Official, his authorized inspector or another authorized agent of Orono at meetings with <br />officials or employees of Minnetonka Beach, and any time spent in preparation for or <br />appearances in court, public hearings, Planning Commission, or City Council meetings, travel to <br />and from such meetings and for other services not specifically defined in this Agreement. <br />Minnetonka Beach must first obtain approval from the Orono City Administrator, and in his or <br />her absence, the Orono Building Official, before an authorized agent of Orono can perform an <br />additional service not defined in this Agreement.) The amount of the hourly charge shall be <br />40.00 per hour. The hourly rate may be prorated on the basis of 15 minute increments. <br />D. Plan Review Fees: Plan Review Fees shall be paid to Minnetonka Beach directly <br />by each building permit applicant in accordance with the then current Orono fee schedule. Orono <br />shall charge Minnetonka Beach far any time spent in such plan reviews as part of the monthly <br />billings. <br />E. Future Adjustment in Char es: It is specifically agreed that Orono may annually <br />review and increase or decrease the amounts charged for the monthly retainer fee, hourly service <br />charge and/or inspection charge based upon changes in the cost of providing employees and/or <br />equipment for such services. The amount charges in any given year shall be as established in the <br />current Orono fee schedule. Orono shall notify Minnetonka Beach at least 90 days prior to the <br />effective date of any change in the rates charged. Such changes in dollar amount charged may be <br />made without voiding this Agreement, but shall be exercised by an amendment of this Exhibit.
