Children’s Workshop is currently leasing space <br />in an office property in Plymouth and as a tenant of many years there, they have obvious limitations. Mr. <br />Johnston stated they look at this building with excitement for the future and become their own landlord <br />and grow their business. <br /> <br />Ressler opened the public hearing at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Ressler closed the public hearing at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Ressler noted it is a daycare facility and that is needed, it is a vacant building, parking is adequate, ingress <br />and egress is adequate. <br /> <br />McCutcheon said it is a pandemic and there will be more kids. He said in all seriousness, he thinks it <br />would be a great asset to the community. <br /> <br />Ressler agreed and asked if there is any opposition. <br /> <br />Libby does not have opposition but reading the licensing and the accreditations and the fact that this is a <br />vetted organization it seems that it would be a sensible proposal for them to become their own landlord. <br /> <br />Kirchner moved, Gettman seconded, to approve LA21-000013, 2190 Wayzata Blvd W, Conditional <br />Use Permit. VOTE: Ayes 7, Nays 0. <br />
