LA20-000064 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 22, 2020, John Kraemer (hereinafter the “Applicant”), on <br />behalf of the Owner, Gina Paulucci, applied for conditional use permits pursuant to the City Code for <br />the property addressed 320 Woodhill Road and legally described as: <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. 1064830 <br />Par 1: Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Edgewood Place, <br />Par 2: Tract I, Registered Land Survey No. 1098, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br />Subject to drainage and utility easements as shown on plat; (as to Par 1) <br />The boundary lines of which have been established by Judicial Landmarks as shown on Plat of <br />Survey and certification as to location thereof filed October 29, 1963 in Torrens Case No. 15271 in <br />the District Court Fourth Judicial District, Hennepin County, Minnesota; (as to Pars 1 and 2) <br />NOTE: FOR REGISTERED LAND SURVEY NO, 1098 SEE DOCUMENT NO. 747495. THE <br />UNDERLYING DOCUMENT FOR LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1, EDGEWOOD PLACE IS TRACT A, <br />REGISTERED LAND SURVEY NO. 1098 (hereinafter the “Property”); <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br />conditional use permit pursuant to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-418(2) to allow a <br />guest house use within a carriage house/garage; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has also made application to the City of Orono for a <br />conditional use permit pursuant to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-418(6) to allow the <br />provision of a shower or bathtub in the bathroom of a pool cabana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 19, 2020, after published and mailed notice in accordance <br />with Minnesota Statutes and the City Code, the Planning Commission held a public hearing, at <br />which time all persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity <br />to speak thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 19, 2020, the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of the conditional use permits for both buildings; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 9, 2020, the City Council reviewed the application and <br />the recommendations of the Planning Commission and City staff; and <br />79 <br />79
