<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. ________________________ <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLAT OF <br />LESLIE LAKEVIEW ESTATES <br /> <br />FILE NO. LA20-000010 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono (hereinafter the “City”) is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter “City Council”) has <br />adopted subdivision and land development regulations for the orderly, economic and safe <br />development of land within the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Real Assets, LLC is the owner of the property addressed 1645 <br />Shadywood Road (hereinafter the “Owner”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS on February 20, 2019, Jamison Kohout (hereinafter the “Developer”) on <br />behalf of the Owner, applied for Preliminary Plat approval to subdivide the property legally described <br />below into two buildable lots. Legal description of the property: <br /> <br />That part of the South 140 feet of the North 428. 5 feet of Government Lot 2, <br />Section 17, Township 117, Range 23, lying West of the West line. of" Shady <br />Wood" and East of a line drawn parallel with and 777. 85 feet West, measured at <br />right angles, from the West line of" Shady Wood", Hennepin County Minnesota <br />(hereinafter the “Property”); <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its regular meeting on March 18, 2019, the Orono City Council <br />granted approval for the Preliminary Plat per the findings and conditions of Resolution No. 6962; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, on February 3, 2020, the Developer submitted an application for final <br />plat approval for the Property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer has agreed to comply with all conditions of Resolution <br />No. 6962 and has completed or has agreed to complete all other requirements of the platting <br />regulations of the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, based upon the findings of Resolution <br />No. 6962, the Orono City Council and the City of Orono does hereby approve the plat of LESLIE <br />LAKEVIEW ESTATES, Hennepin County, Minnesota (a copy of which is attached as Exhibit A), <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />
