Buckthorn is an invasive species that <br /> is considered undesirable and is specifically listed as a species to be removed if within the buffer. There is only a small <br /> portion of the hedge within the required 16.5 foot buffer and it is recommended to replace this portion of the <br /> hedge with other species so it is in compliance with the ordinance. <br /> 3.
