The purpose of this action item is to provide council a briefing on the proposed changes to <br />the various CIP areas that pertain to the Public Works. <br />2.Background. Each year as part of the budget process staff updates the Capital Improvement <br />Plan (CIP). The CIP is a planning level document looking out 10 years to identify significant capital <br />expenses. <br />3.CIP. Today’s briefing will cover the Streets, Water, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer and Equipment <br />CIPs. The spreadsheets are attached. Staff will all present individual presentation slides on those items <br />identified of 2022. <br />a.Streets. The 2022 Streets CIP is projected to cost $ 104,800 and will be paid for from the <br />Pavement Improvement Fund. <br />b.Water. The 2022 Water CIP is projected to cost $ 798,440 and will be paid for from Water Fund <br />and American Rescue Plan funds. <br />c.Sanitary Sewer. The 2022 Sanitary Sewer CIP is projected to cost $ 821,700 and will be paid for <br />from the Sanitary Sewer Fund and American Rescue Plan funds. <br />d.Storm Water. The 2022 Stormwater CIP is projected to cost $ 459,335 and will be paid for from <br />the Stormwater Fund. <br />e.Equipment. The 2022 Equipment CIP is projected to cost $ 326,000 and will be paid for from <br />the Equipment outlay fund which is in turn funded from a combination of enterprise and general funds. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Provide Feedback on Draft CIP items. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
