The purpose of this agenda item is to adopt a Resolution Certifying the Assessment Roll of <br />the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. <br /> <br />2. Background. On July 24th, 2017 the Orono City Council passed resolution number 6871, A <br />Resolution Approving the Establishment of the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. The district is <br />required to hold an annual meeting in which it adopts an annual budget and a tax roll. On September 21, <br />2021 the district held its annual meeting and adopted its 2022 budget and tax roll. The district has <br />forwarded the assessment roll to the City for certification to Hennepin County. <br /> <br />3. Staff Recommendation. Staff recommends the adoption of the attached resolution levying the <br />Assessment Roll for the Carman Bay Lake Improvement District. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to adopt the Resolution No. 7230, Certifying the Assessment Roll of the Carman Bay Lake <br />Improvement District. <br /> <br />Exhibits <br />A.
