The purpose of this action item is to gain approval to expend public funds for a golf course <br />event on September 17th, 2021. <br /> <br />2. Background. A group of residents interested in promoting the Orono Golf course head by Park <br />Commission Chairman Brian Roath are requesting to hold and event at the Club house on Friday <br />September 17th from 3-5 PM. Planned activities include live music and catering. The group requests the <br />city fund the musical entertainment and Catering deposit for special food offerings. <br /> <br />3. Cost. Funding. Funding for the event would come from the Golf Course operating budget.
