The purpose of this action item is to gain approval to accept a donation from Northwest <br />Area Jaycees. <br />2.Background. The Police Department has received a donation from Northwest Area Jaycees. The <br />Northwest Area Jaycees would like to donate $1000.00 of their local charitable operations to be used to <br />upgrade equipment in the Police Department training and conditioning area. <br />3.Staff Recommendation. I recommend approval to accept the donation of $1000.00 from Northwest <br />Area Jaycees. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion for approval to accept donation of $1000.00 from the Northwest Area Jaycees to be used to <br />upgrade equipment in the Police Department training and conditioning area.
