We have reviewed the plans and find <br /> them to be consistent with City expectations as a result of the MNPUC Route Permit review <br /> process. <br /> The City of Orono hereby accepts and grants approval for the construction of new transmission <br /> lines, construction of a new berm, removal of vegetation and the installation of trees and shrubs <br /> by Xcel Energy on portions of Outlot A, Huntington Farms as they relate to the existing <br /> easements held by the City. Specifically these are the "Flowage and Conservation Easement and <br /> Waiver of Damages" (document No. 5153932) and the "Open Space Easement" (document No. <br /> 5153933) both as filed with the Hennepin County Recorder on September 8, 1986. The above <br /> approval is based on the plan sheets attached to your Letter of Request dated September 25, <br /> 2012. <br /> As a condition of this approval, Xcel shall adhere to the provisions of the MNPUC Route Permit, <br /> a copy of which is on file at the City of Orono Administrative Offices. <br /> If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 952-249-4622 or via email at <br /> mgaffron@ci.orono.mn.us. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Michael P.
