I think there was one that <br /> 5 was out front which is pretty simple . Xcel <br /> 6 submitted their application at the beginning of <br /> 7 June . The Commission accepted it as substantially <br /> 8 complete at the end of June . We are here at the <br /> 9 public meeting phase . There ' s a public comment <br /> 10 period , and I ' ll talk about that in just a minute , <br /> 11 that runs through the end of August , August 26th . <br /> 12 After that comment period where people <br /> 13 are commenting on the information to be evaluated in <br /> 14 the environmental assessment we ' ll take that <br /> 15 information , I ' ll review it . I ' ll review the <br /> 16 comments and present them to my deputy commissioner . <br /> 17 They ' ll issue a scope . Once the scope is issued <br /> 18 we ' ll get to work on preparing the environmental <br /> 19 assessment . <br /> 20 And once that ' s complete , we ' ll be back <br /> 21 out in the project area for a hearing to be presided <br /> 22 over most likely by an administrative law judge . <br /> 23 Following the close of the comment period , after the <br /> 24 hearing , the whole record will be referred to the <br /> 25 Commission for their final decision . <br />
