New structures will be designed to support the existing transmission and distribution <br /> lines,thereby allowing the use of existing alignments and will share existing road rights- <br /> of-way to the extent that such actions do not violate sound engineering principles or <br /> system reliability criteria. <br /> ' Structures will be placed at the maximum feasible distance, consistent withsound <br /> engineering principles and system reliability criteria, from intersecting roads, highway,or <br /> trail crossings and could cross roads to minimize or avoid impacts.
