CAN YOU DESCRIBE THE PUBLIC OUTREACH CONDUCTED BY THE <br /> 5 COMPANY FOLLOWING SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION? <br /> 6 \. At the request of the two landowners whose property is crossed by existing <br /> 7 Line 0831, the Company contacted BNSF to discuss the possibility of <br /> 8 relocating the existing line to run parallel with the southern edge of BNSF <br /> 9 property. A permit application was submitted to BNSF and a permit was <br /> 10 received on October 17, 2011 to allow the relocated transmission line poles to <br /> 11 be set at 5 feet south of BNSF property and for a revised crossing over the <br /> 12 railroad. Both landowners stated that this relocation was a viable solution and <br /> 13 it reduced the existing impacts to their properties. The relocated portion would <br /> 14 require the acquisition of a new easement on the HFHOA property between <br /> 15 the two landowners and the BNSF property. Upon acquiring the new <br /> 16 easement for the relocation, the existing easements for the current Line 0831's <br /> 17 location would be released. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 The Company has also continued discussions with the landowner west and <br /> 20 adjacent to the existing substation regarding project details and the permitting <br /> 21 process.
