CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. ________________________ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2-38 of the Orono City Code to sets the yearly salary of each <br />Council Member at $3,500.00 and the yearly salary of the Mayor at $4,200.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Councilmember Richard Crosby and Mayor Dennis Walsh would each like <br />to donate $1,750.00 of their salaries to the City bringing the total donation to $3,500.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes § 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or <br />personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. Councilmember Richard Crosby’s monthly salary payment will be withheld until the <br />amount withheld reaches $1,750.00. <br />2. Mayor Dennis Walsh’s monthly salary payment will be withheld until the amount <br />withheld reaches $1,750.00. <br />3.
