<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. ________________________ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PAY PLAN ADJUSTMENTS FOR <br /> NON-UNION CITY EMPLOYEES FOR 2021 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator is responsible for annually presenting pay <br />adjustments for City employees, with the exception of employees covered by collective bargaining <br />agreements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been appropriated in the proposed 2021 Annual Budget <br />to fund the recommended pay adjustments and such other matters of compensation as herein <br />specified. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Orono City Council as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the City’s non-union pay scale be increased by 3% to reflect a Cost of Living <br />increase. <br /> <br />2. That the City’s non-union employees be eligible for longevity pay of $0.05 per hour <br />x number of years of service to the City beginning on the employee’s 8th <br />anniversary. <br /> <br />3. That the City's cafeteria benefit plan contribution will remain at $1,472.50 per <br />month for employees on family coverage, remain at $915 for single (no cash) and <br />will remain at $205.00 for waivers. <br /> <br />4. That City employees using their own vehicles for approved work related business <br />shall be compensated at a rate allowed by the IRS (currently $0.575 per mile). <br /> <br />5. That the 2021 Safety Shoe Reimbursement will remain at $250 for employees that <br />qualify for this reimbursement. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council this 7th day of December, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_________________________________ _________________________________
