2058 Sec.82-284.-Road dedication and reservations. <br /> 2059 (a) New perimeter streets.Street systems in new subdivisions shall be laid out so as to eliminate or avoid <br /> 2060 new perimeter half-streets.Where an existing half-street is adjacent to a new subdivision,the other <br /> 2061 half of the street shall be improved and dedicated by the subdivider. The city may authorize a new <br /> 2062 perimeter street where the subdivider improves and dedicates the entire required street right-of-way <br /> 2063 width within his own subdivision boundaries. <br /> 2064 (b) Widening and realignment of existing roads.Where a subdivision borders an existing narrow road or <br /> 4065 when the : • -• . - .. . .•Community Management Plan or some other agency indicates <br /> 2066 plans for realignment or widening a road that would require use of some of the land in the subdivision, <br /> 1067 the subdivider shall be required to improve and dedicate at their his-expense such areas for widening <br /> 2068 or realignment of such roads.Such frontage roads and streets shall be improved and dedicated by the <br /> 1069 subdivider at histheir own expense to the full width as required by this chapter. <br /> 2070 (c) Use of reserved land. Land reserved for any road purposes may not be counted in satisfying yard or <br /> 2071 area requirements of chapter 78,whether the land is to be dedicated to the city in fee simple or an <br /> 2072 easement is granted to the city. <br /> 2073 Sec.82-285.-Pedestrian access. <br /> 2074 The council may require sidewalks or other pedestrian pathways-trails in order to facilitate pedestrian <br /> 2075 access from the roads to schools,parks,playgrounds or other nearby roads . . _ • . <br /> 2076 Sidewalks shall be five feet in width and trails no more than eight feet in width. <br /> 2077 Secs.82-28082-299.-Reserved. <br /> 2078 <br /> 2079 DIVISION 4.-CONSERVATION DESIGN <br /> 080 <br /> 181 Sec.82-300.-Conservation design required. <br /> 082 The following residential subdivisions shall be subject to the provisions of chapter 78,article XII <br /> .083 with regards to conservation design. <br /> .084 a.
