Staff conducted a <br /> preliminary review based on the information provided and recommends the following items be submitted or revised in <br /> order for your application to be considered complete and for the plan review to continue: <br /> 1. Certificate of Survey. A survey was submitted dated 4-10-18. Please provide two copies of an updated, full- <br /> size certificate of survey which meets all of the City's survey standards (enclosed) addressing the following: <br /> a. Top of Foundation. There is a top of poured wall elevation called out, but it doesn't match any of the <br /> proposed elevations shown on the perimeter of the foundation. Please have the surveyor call out and <br /> show the point or spot on the perimeter of the foundation where the top of foundation elevation is in <br /> reference to. Please note, we expect the location to be consistent when submitting the foundation <br /> as-built. <br /> b. Have the surveyor show the average lakeshore setback line and 75' setback line. Please note, if the <br /> stone steps are within the 75'setback they will need to be removed. <br /> c. The grading plan should be revised or a separate plan submitted to indicate the perimeter erosion <br /> control measures(silt fence, biologs, etc.) down gradient from proposed work. <br /> 2. Building Plans. The building plans show an accessory structure (pergola) on the south side of the house. The <br /> pergola is an accessory structure and must be setback 10'from the property line. We will redline the pergola <br /> on the building plans as not approved/permitted. <br /> 3. Landscape Plan. <br /> a. Prior to the issuance of the building permit a landscape plan must be submitted showing all the <br /> proposed exterior/landscaping improvements, i.e. patios,grading,sidewalks, retaining walls,etc. The <br /> plan should include the name of the individual performing the work. Any proposed patios, grading, <br /> sidewalks, retaining walls shown on the landscape plan should also be reflected on the survey. <br /> b. There is a patio shown on the south side of the house. Will there be any path or walkway in <br /> conjunction with the patio? Please provide clarification. <br /> 4. Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD). Your project may trigger the Minnehaha Creek Watershed <br /> District's (MCWDs) permitting requirements; please contact the MCWD directly at 952-471-0590 regarding <br /> your project. Please note,the City of Orono will not issue a building permit without a copy of the MCWD permit <br /> or documentation stating the proposed project does not trigger any of their permitting requirements. <br />
