General Rule--one restricted watercraft per 50 feet of continuous shoreline. <br /> Pete Nelson 2. Unless agreater number is authorized bythegeneral rule, upto two restricted <br /> Victoria <br /> Tom Scanlon watercraft may be kept at a dock or mooring on a residential site which was in <br /> Spring Park existence on August 30, 1978. <br /> Tom Seuntjens <br /> Minnetonka Beach 3. Up to four restricted watercraft are allowed at a residential site. If all of the following <br /> Herb Suerth conditions are met: <br /> Woodland a. There is one, and no more than one single family residential structure on the <br /> site. <br /> b. The dockage rights at the site are owned exclusively by the owners of the lot. <br /> c. If all of the watercraft kept at the dock are owned by and registered to persons who <br /> live in the one residential structure at the site. <br /> 4. Under no circumstances may more than four(4)restricted watercraft be stored at a <br /> residential dock without an LMCD multiple dock license. <br /> LMCD Code Section 1.02, subd.41 defines a restricted watercraft as any boat or vessel for use on or <br /> stored on the public waters on the Lake except for unrestricted watercraft as stored in this section. <br /> Code Section 1.02, subd. 55c defines an unrestricted watercraft as any boat or vessel for use on or <br /> stored on the public water of the Lake which is: <br /> 1. 16'or less in length and unmotorized;or <br /> 2. 16'or less in length and which uses a motor of 10 horsepower or less;or <br /> .3. 20'or less in length and unmotorized,and which is propelled by human power. <br /> Dock and boat storage must be contained within your authorized dock use area. The authorized dock use <br /> area is defined as"that area in the Lake which may be used for docks, moorings, boat storage,swimming <br /> floats,ski jump storage, or diving towers,or which may be enclosed on three sides for any of these <br /> purposes." The authorized dock use area is further defined by extending the side site lines into the lake in <br /> the same direction that they are platted on land. The three sides of the authorized dock use area are further <br /> defined by dock length and side setback restrictions.
