Class II Rest�ur�ult serving into�ic�.ting liquor and witli live entertaiiullent. The current CUP cont�ins six specific conditions of approv�l: l. The applicant shall inst��il �� two dooi• system �t the re�r entr�nce to ►neet �11 St�te Building �ud Fire Code st�nd�rcis. Tl�e purpose oT the doors would be to alio�v customers to enter �nd exit the building witho�t�Ilowing noise to leave lhe building. They should be sp�ced so one door �voulcl close before the second door is opened. All doors sh.�ll rem�in closed at �il times, except �vhen entering or exiting the btiilding. 2. Live entert�inment will end at 12:30 �.m. eacti nigl�t and the S�loon sh�ll close at 1:00�.m. e�ch night. 3. The front door s1i111 not be used �s �n entr�nce during the period of time the building is used for live entert�inment. A one ye�r time period is required for the applic�nt to monitor the use of the building and the front entrance. After one year the City of Orono will review t1►e use of' the bui(ding in relation to the live entertainment and noise levels generlted by the live entert�inment use. 4. Tt�e property is subject to the sign ordinance for tempo►•ai•y and permanent signs. No signs can be tocated on or outside the building without receiving a permit from the City of Orono. 5. Noise shall be held to a level as to not be in violation of lhe Noise Ordinance. � 6. The sale of intoxicating liquor requires the business h:�ve a valid liquor license with the City of Orono. Tl�e above conditions with regard to changes to the pl�ysical elenients of ihe building have I�een complied wit11. Tl�.e property has continued to have a valid liquor license. Tiie operational aspecfis (conditions 2, 3 and 5) have generally been complied with, altl�ough various area residents h�ve n�ade it clear during the review process that noise and late- night tr�ffic associated with the Narrows operation are not to their liking. The City has received complaints thai tl�e doors have been open for e�.teiicled ��eriods on occasion, creating a noise impact for the surrounding neighboz�hood.
