Tlle parlcing study �ided in addressing two key parking quesfiions: � - Is the existing nLtmber of p�rl.iilg splces in the public parlcii�g lot sufficient to �ccommodate the iiicre�sed demaud �ssociated wiih the pi•oposed saloon exp�ilsion? - Will sufficient spaces remain available in the public p�rkiilg loi i:o serve users of other properties that rely upon this p�rking lot? The study reviewed the existing avlilable parlcing and notes that 129 spaces are available in the mulucipal lot with 30 additional spaces available on private properties which abut the lot. More importantly, fihe si.udy reviewed existing peak parking denland as well as fiihire parking demand during the same peak times. The peak times reviewed were the 1 riday izoon period, Sati.irciay noon period, and Saturday evening. The e�istin�peak demands at these noted time periods are 65 vehicles during the Friday noon period, 59 vehicles during the Saturday noon period, and 67 velucles during the Sahlyday eveiung period. The firttu�e dem�nd, taking into considerltion the Caribou CofFee use and the proposed Narrows expansion as well as the other e�isting uses, was projecied at 115 parking stalls during the Friday noon period, 93 stalls during the S�tLlyday noon period, and 122 stalls dLuing ilie Saturday evening period. (See pages 5-8 of the p�rking study).
