Broitzman stated the <br /> height of the house has also been reduced by 2.5 feet by rnoving the house forward and �vould still <br /> confoinl to the 30-foot height requirement. <br /> Gaffron pointed out the decic would also need to meet the avei•age lakeshore setbaetc. <br /> Mayor Peterson inquired whether there were any public comments on this application. <br /> There were no public comments regarding this application. <br /> Broitzman noted the amount of grading being proposed at the present time is for the house only and not <br /> the driveway. Broitzman stated the driveway would need to be engineered, Broitzman stated if the house <br /> is slid bacic any further,it would increase the amount of dirt that would need to be removed. <br /> White stated he would lilce to see solne larger trees planted in the area where the other n•ees were <br /> removed. White colYunented the hees would also help to increase the value of the home. <br /> Broitzrnan stated he has been told by a number of real estate agents that they would remove the trees that <br /> he did sinee they bloelced the vie�v of the lalce. <br /> 1�fcMillan stated it is the applicant's choice to plant trees in that area, noting that it is outside the 0-75' <br /> zone, <br /> Murphy concui�ed this application should go bacic to the Plaru�ing Comnlission, and inquired when Staff <br /> wo�ild see real building plans rether than a computer generated plan. Murphy stated this lot is l,mhably <br /> one of the last remaining pristine spots on Lalce Minnetonlca and sh-ongly reco�runended that the applicant <br /> hire a qualified local architect to deternline�vhat would best fit on this lot. <br /> Broitzman stated the only issue that the Planning Con�unission had was the amount of fill,noting that the <br /> vote was splifi on the motion. Broitzrnan stated he has concerns that the Planning Conlmission has <br /> different�views on this application than the Council does and that he is not able to please both bodies. <br /> Sansevere pointed out the vote of the Planning Co�nmission is a recommendation only and that it does not <br /> guarantee the Council �vill vote the same �vay.
