SECTION 7. Sec. 78-1512. of Subdivision II, Joint parking, is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> A. Required parking facilities serving two or more uses in the B district-may be <br /> located on the same lot, provided that the total number of parking spaces so <br /> furnished shall be not less than the sum total of the separate requirements for <br /> each use and provided: <br /> (1) The proposed joint parking space is within 30 feet of the use it will <br /> serve; <br /> (2) The applicants shall show that there is no substantial conflict in the <br /> principal operating hours of the two or more buildings or uses for which <br /> joint use of off-street parking facilities is proposed; and <br /> (3) A properly drawn legal instrument approved by the city attorney and <br /> executed by the parties concerned for joint use of off-street parking <br /> facilities shall be filed with the city clerk. This instrument may be a three or <br /> more party agreement, including the city. <br /> B. Required parking facilities located within the I-Industrial District shall conform <br /> with the requirements of Section 78.827 of the Ordinance. <br /> Required parking facilities serving two or more uses in the B e�-E districts may be <br /> located on the same lot, provided that the total number of parking spaces so <br /> furnished shall be not less than the sum total of the separate requirements for <br /> each use and provided: <br /> (1) The proposed joint parking space is within 30 feet of the use it will <br /> serve; <br /> (2) The applicants shall show that there is no substantial conflict in the <br /> principal operating hours of the two or more buildings or uses for which <br /> joint use of off-street parking facilities is proposed; and <br /> (3) A properly drawn legal instrument approved by the city attorney and <br /> executed by the parties concerned for joint use of off-street parking <br /> facilities shall be filed with the city clerk. Except within the I-Industrial District, where the principal use of the structure <br /> served is as listed, the minimum parking facilities (open or enclosed) shall be as <br /> shown. Within the I-Industrial District, minimum parking facilities (open or <br /> enclosed) shall conform to Section 78-826 of the Ordinance. <br /> 19 <br />
