The material includes four types of information: (1) A summary of comments from the Public Hearing; (2) A draft ofithe revised industrial district (and other amendments) in ordinance format; and (3) Excerpts of the existing Zoning Ordinance sections where other changes are proposed which are necessary to properly integrate the new regulations. This latter material is submitted in c+'''��/underline format to highlight the proposed changes; and finally (4) A copy of the cover report that accompanied the previous draft ordinance for the Public Hearing. The proposed ordinance was generated from a series of staff meetings and workshop meetings with the Planning Commission and property owner representatives, culminating in a public hearing before the Planning Commission at its meeting on January 17. At that meeting, a number of comments on the draft ordinance were submitted, some of which have been incorporated into the draft presented to the City Council. In the following sections, we have prepared a summary of the comments, indicating whether the ordinance text has been altered from the Planning Commission's draft, or the text remains as originally proposed.
