Excelsior and Wayzata have different scheduling for Friday’s year around, Excelsior <br />is not open on Fridays and Wayzata maintains our summer hours schedule year around. Alternatively 5 of <br />the 11 cities switch their hours for summer and the remaining 4 cities maintain a standard 8 hour workday <br />5 days a week with either 30 minute or 1 hour unpaid lunch breaks. <br />Public Works departments predominantly maintain a 7:00 am to 3:30 PM work schedule year <br />round. 3 Cities switch to summer hours for public works and Hennepin County maintains 10 hour work <br />days for road crews in the summer. The remainder hold alternative 8 hour schedules.
