Spring 2008 <br /> Discussed at Combined Subcommittee meeting of Apri123,2008. Their <br /> recommendations to the MSB: <br /> 1. The NSS/UCFS has reviewed the City of Orono Resolution No. 5711 and found <br /> that it does not satisfy the 2007 MSB motion. <br /> 2. Recommend to the DSAE and the MSB that any "private street" segments not <br /> made "public streets" by September 1, 2008, shall be removed from the 2007 <br /> certification of mileage (submitted 1/l5/2008) <br /> 3. The NSS/L1CFS advised the MSB that a definition for public streets is not needed <br /> at this time. <br /> Sprin�2008 MSB Meeting <br /> Presentation by a representative of Orono. <br /> Motions of the Sprin�2008 MSB <br /> 1. Motion by Keely, second by Matthys that Orono Resolution 571 l does not satisfy <br /> the 2007 MSB motion; the City must have delivered to it public ownership of the <br /> property for public R/W purposes or a permanent public R/W easement; all <br /> conflicting documents, easements and covenants must be revoked by the <br /> responsible authority. <br /> 2. Motion by Gray, second by Matthys, directing the State Aid Engineer that any <br /> private road that has not been made a public street by September 1, 2008, shall be <br /> removed from Orono's 2007 Certification of Mileage. <br /> 3. Motion by Maurer, second by Voigt, directing the District State Aid Engineer to <br /> send a letter to Orono with excerpts of the minutes explaining what they need to <br /> do. <br /> Letter sent by DSAE on June 30,2008 explaining what Orono needed to do. <br /> Revised Certification of Mileage received from Orono in late August 2008. <br /> System revision request received form Orono in late August requesting to revoke <br /> 2.98 miles from their MSAS system. <br /> 45 <br />
