Purpose. The purpose of this <br />action item is to gain approval to pain <br />the fuel cube (tank). <br />2. Background. The Fuel Cube is <br />an above ground fuel storage tank that <br />stores both diesel and gasoline for <br />Public Works and Police Vehicles. As <br />the tank is exposed to the elements it <br />required periodic preventative <br />maintenance, particularly painting. <br />3. Scope. The Project consists of the <br />paining of the fuel cube and the <br />associated bollards that surround it. <br />4. Cost. Staff Solicited quotes from two vendors. The Low Quote is from Tom Mittelstaedt Painting. <br />Contractor Quote <br />Tom Mittelstaedt Painting $4,897 <br />R&H Painting, LLC $10,800 <br />5. Funding. The project is funded from the Central Services Operating Budget. <br />6. Staff Recommendation.
